Created in partnership with Orlando Watch Company, Father Time represents the perfect union of luxurious quality and timeless craftsmanship. This extraordinary whiskey, with 95% of its blend undergoing a secondary maturation for over a year in Armagnac and Cognac barrels, boasts a flavor profile that is as refined as it is enduring. One standout in this blend is an Armagnac cask we used with a storied past. Sourced from the cellar of a French château by Bhakta Spirits and last filled with brandy in 1976. After aging for an impressive 46 years, the cask was emptied in the summer of 2023, delivering intense aromas of vintage Armagnac, with layered notes of dried fruit and leather that enrich the malt whiskey we re-racked into it.
Blending malts that had been finished in barrels with such prestigious histories was both a privilege and a challenge. While the Armagnac and Cognac finishes provide richness and depth, a touch of Brueckelen New York Single Malt adds the structure needed to harmonize this complex blend.
